Euphiophone

Euphiophone is an electronica artist based in Dublin. He played in a couple of bands in his native Monaghan that set the standards for late-ninties-rock-cover-bands-based-in-Monaghan before becoming a bedroom producer. He likes trying to reconcile diametrically opposed musical forms within his music and consequently his music traverses a broad spectrum of influences...or basically, he thinks it's a bit of a laugh to do things such as take some nice folk guitar & then mash in an angry industrial beat in over it. He has done a select couple of gigs about town, including supporting Black Dog, and is involved with the organisation of the Second Square To None group. In addition to the music, Euphiophone is a graphic designer by day. He contributes live visuals to club gigs around Dublin but often feels that this is more trouble then it's worth.
