LAKKER are Ian McDonnell and Dara Smith who make everything from abstract glitchi- ness to rampaging gabba using only a cou- ple of laptops, the occasional microphone and their considerable musical smarts. They have been mainstays on the Irish electronic music scene since their inception in 2003. Described in the Journal of Music in Ireland (JMI) as "one of the best electronic acts in Ireland", their eclectic output has been re- leased on various labels such as Risc Re- cords, Go Away Recordings, Acroplane, The Alphabet Set, Dublin Xpress, !Ka- boogie, Lazybird and now Stasis Records.
